If they knew how to thank you  for taking them up in the sky

If they knew how to tell you why they have a tear in their eye

Maybe parents wouldn’t be needed at all, to lift their children into the world of people tall...

And in their helplessness and their innocence

When they cry and when they fall

Your Heavenly Father is smiling down on you

As you lift them up - into the world of people tall.
