Page 2, All I could ask for (Continued)

I know sometimes you wish you could ask,

For help or advice or words to help you meet the task,

- I know sometimes you miss your dad...

... If I were your dad I would tell you, “Dear son,

I think that you’re great, in all that you’ve done,

You’ve pressed on each day, and walked the right way,

You’ve not given in, when fears shook within,

And now, son, you’ve made me proud in this life...

And all I could ask for - you are to me,

The best son that could ever be.”

...I know someday you’ll see him again,

I know the Lord will meet you both - and then,

The Lord will reward you

For all you have done,

And your dad will see it all -

The honor given to his son.
